Flint Gatrell has been writing code since 1997 and became a programmer for AccuFund in 2003, under the mentorship of Gordon Holfelder.
Flint’s career evolved from writing program documentation, to writing code for the program itself, to delivering the program to the hands of thousands of users both on-premises and in the cloud. He currently manages two teams, acts as a liaison to product development, and serves as the Information Security Officer for AccuFund, which was acquired by i3 Verticals in 2023. He lives East of Colorado Springs, Colorado, with his wife of 14 years and 11 y/o son.
When he’s not working, he’s spending time with family or flying. He holds a Private Pilot license with a Single Engine Land rating and is currently working to add a Glider rating.
